An eight session workshop that will look at poems by Rumi, Hafiz, and Kabir. These three 12th and 13th century Islamic writers challenge us to enlarge our sense of our place in the world and to see connections where we may have been blind. Our approach will take their poems as spiritual teaching tools which ask us to see our lives in a new way, to try new ways of thinking, and to let go of some cultural assumptions. Dennis will provide a few poems and study questions each week, so there is no need to buy any books. We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 6:30, starting Nov.17 in the Sanctuary.
